Last weekend, I flew to Seattle, Washington and had an amazing time with my cousins. I felt like I needed a short weekend to clear my mind, to de-stress and to relax. The weather is amazing! Oh that's also one of the reasons why I flew to Seattle--to escape the hot and humid and lethal weather of Texas. The temperature were in the 70s and at night it was even cooler. I stayed at Hotel Max in the downtown area. The lobby is amazing, perfectly compliments Seattle's rainy weather look. A very monochromatic color palette. Also I arrived at 3PM and the guy was taking out board games and strategically placing them all over the area. I loved walking in downtown Seattle. It's so easy to navigate around. Compared to New York City, Seattle's downtown is a baby. I do love seeing these comic book inspired brass embedded on the sidewalks--I guess it is like Hollywood's Walk of Fame? Then on my last day, we went to the beach called Alki beach. I've never been there before. You can rent bikes and it had cute restaurants as well. The friends were drinking while I was too busy taking in the sights and sounds of Alki beach while enjoying my taro boba. This photo was also taken in Alki beach. This restaurant is called Marination Ma Kai where we had lunch and I was told it serves Asian and Hawaiian fusion style menu. It was amazing and affordable too. Plus, the view is incredible from here (as seen on picture).
Anyway, it was a fun and quick trip and I always have a good time visiting the Pacific Northwest. I want to visit Vancouver again in the future and when I have more free time. Until next time, Seattle! xx Leo Song of the Day: "90210" by Blackbear
